The envelope punch board has been one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. Not only will it allow me to make any size envelope I want, but I can also make different types of boxes, one of which is this cute little matchbox.
I’ve already made a few of these adorable boxes and each started with just an 8 ½” x 11” piece of paper for the entire box and just scrap pieces of pattern paper for the decorations. The finishes boxes are about 3 ¾” x 2 ½” x ¾”.
The first box I made was adorned with this little paper bow, also made on the envelope punch board.
Here are two more boxes that I’ve made so far.
This first box is decorated with roses made with the Retro Flower punch, inked with Fired Brick distress ink and accented with Star Dust Stickles.
The next matchbox is decorated with a simple leaf cluster cut from Spellbinders Foliage dies and inked with Pealed Paint Distress ink.
