Gift Card Holder Instructions

Start with a sheet of cardstock that is 11 ½” x 4 ½”
Starting from either edge score at 3 ¼”, 2 ½”, 2 ½”, with 3 ¼” left over.

Fold the card so you have a valley fold, mountain fold and a second valley fold as shown below.

To make the opening for the gift card, fold the card in half at the mountain fold. Either eye ball or mark ½” on each side and about 3/8” in.

Using a 1 ½” square punch, punch out the left and right sides of the opening.

Use a 1 ¼” circle punch to complete the opening.

Use Tacky Tape to secure the inside of the card keeping it at the very edge of the card stock.

Decorate as desired.

*This is not my original idea, but an adaptation using the tools at my disposal and measurements of my choice.*

**The baby shower card below is mounted on an optional sheet of card stock that is ½” larger all around.**

Matching envelope:

For the plain card above you will need a sheet of paper 10” x 6 ½”.

Score ¾” from each long edge to create the sides

Bottom flap, score up 3” from bottom

Top flap, 2 ¾” inches from top

Follow cutting and folding directions as described HERE for the 4 x 4 envelope, rounding the corners if you like and securing with tacky tape.
